APM im kernel -> trotzdem kein poweroff

Hallo,

Mein Rechner schaltet sich nach dem Shutdown nicht aus. APM ist im 
Kernel reinkompiliert mit folgender konfiguration.

In der lilo.conf hab ich auch schon append="apm=on" oder auch 
apm="power-off" angehängt. Das bringt auch nix.

Ich habe APM in KDE ausgeschaltet weil der rechner in der Konsole kein 
Bild mehr bringt. DAs sollte aber sich nicht auf das Runterfahrverhalten 
auswirken, oder?
