Ich benutze (versuche es zumindest :-( )
ii mplayer-k7 1.0-pre2-woody The Ultimate Movie Player For Linux
mit eine Matrox G400. Ich habe keine Probleme beim Abspielen von
verschiedenen Video-Files.
Mein Problem: Wenn ich versuche, eich VCD oder DVD abzuspielen, sehe ich
im output folgendes:

Mit verschiedenen output-Devices.
Hier läuft hörbar das LW - einige Sekunden lang. Es wird der Rahmen
eines X-Fensters (aber ohne Inhalt!) aufgebaut.
Einige Sekunden später mehrfach:
Too many audio packets in the buffer: (3659 in 8389215 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.
und zum Schluss:

Google hat mich nicht wirklich weiter gebracht, vielleicht weil ich
nicht gerade Fachmann bzgl. Video und Codecs bin.
BTW: Diese CD's, DVD's machen mir auf meinem Notebook keine Probleme.
