Sorry, mit Grub kenne ich mich garnicht aus. Da muss wer ander helfen.

Mit lilo habe ich hier allerdings keine Probleme. Ist der Kernel über das 
Paketmanagement installiert oder selbstgebrannt? initrd klappt hier 
tadellos.
