Kernelpanic nach SMP-Kernel Installation
Hallo Liste,
ich habe ein Dual Prozessor Board mit OnBoard HPT 366
Kontroller.
Am IDE1 hängt ein CDRom am ertsen IDE vom HPT 366 hängt
eine Festplatte.
Ich habe Debian - minimal Insatllation - installiert -
Kernel bf24.
Nun möchte ich aber, das beide Prozessoren arbeiten.
Also habe ich mir das Kernelpacket 2.4.21-4-686-smp und
alle anderen notwendigen Pakete gesaugt und installiert.
Lilo ausgeführt und erhielt gleich die Meldung:

In der lilo.conf steht folgendes:

BTW, warum sehe ich mit dieser lilo.conf kein Lilomenü beim
booten???
Nachdem reboot hat der Kernel Panic:
VFS: Cannot open root device "2101" or 21:01
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 21:01
Boote ich von CD - rescbf24 root=/dev/hde1 - und führe dann
lilo aus, erscheint keine Warnmeldung.
Ich habe es eben einmal geschafft, den LinuxOLD Kernel über
Lilo von Platte zu booten, also ohne CD im Laufwerk - ich
weiß nicht wie, da ja kein Lilomenü angezeigt wird - und
wenn ich dann wieder lilo ausführe, erhalte ich die selbe
Warnmeldung wie oben.
Wie bekomme ich den SMP-Kernel zum laufen?
