hppa und debian die 2.



Hello List,

Hardware : Hp 712/60 Workstation 32mb, 2*1gb SCSI, Modem Elsa Microlink
	   28.8 (yes, i know, it's only for testing).

Software : Debian 3.0 (woody) r1 (HP PA-RISC)

My problem is, i can't dial out with my modem.
The first time i configured my Modem i do it by wvdialconf.
At the point of automatic modem recognize i become a " segmentation
fault " . 
Pppconfig recognize the Modem (ser. /dev/ttyS0, it the only one) the 
configuration is succesfull.When i type 'pon' to get connected to
my provider the DTR DSR RTS CTS led's are light on.That is the only
thing that happens, the modem dosn't dial out.
plog shows following...

# other stuff deleted,

 			what does it mean??
