DSL-Anschluß jetzt völlig tot
Hallo again,
nachdem ich gestern schon für 3 Stunden eine tote Leitung hatte, läuft
gar nichts mehr heute (bin jetzt wieder mit RH7.2 im Nezt, mein Notnagel
für alle Fälle)!?
Ich finde die Ursache (Troubleshooting-FAQ brachte nichts) nicht:
- die Netzwerkkarte ( RealTek RTL8139 )wird nicht mehr geladen, d.h.
ich muß es per "ifconfig eth0 up" nachholen, funktioniert dann
einwandfrei!
-beim Starten von "pon provider" erscheint in der darunterliegenden
Ziele ein:ATZW2, der Cursor springt an den Anfang (auf A).... und das
war es dann: keine Verbindung!
- beim Starten von "pon provider" teilt mir "tail -f
/var/log/messages" folgendes mit:
Mar 21 11:20:12 pppd[794]: pppd 2.4.1 started by thomas, uid 0
Mar 21 11:20:12 chat[796]: abort on (BUSY)
Mar 21 11:20:12 chat[796]: abort on (NO CARRIER)

Mar 21 11:20:12 chat[796]: send (ATZW2^M)

Mar 21 11:20:57 chat[796]: Failed
Der Abschnitt von Zeile 2 - 9 wiederholt sich solange bis ich es mit
einem "poff" beende!
Aus /var/log/ppp-connect-errors ergibt sich:
pppoe: Timeout waiting for PADS packets

pppoe: Timeout waiting for PADS packets
pppoe: Timeout waiting for PADS packets

Hmm, die ganze Sache verwundert mich, da ich an der Konfiguration nichts
verändert habe. Allerdings hatte ich gestern dann die "debug" Option in
pppoe-Skript (für syslogd) aktiviert! Unter RH7.2 läuft alles einwandfrei!
Kann mir jemand sagen, was da vor sich geht?
Was muß ich tun, um die Sache wieder ins Laufen zu bekommen?
