[OT] nforce2, kdm started nicht
Hallo Debian/Linux Gurus!
Kurze Beschreibung:
nforce2 chipsatz MoBo
Bisher Probleme mit dma Modus der Platten, aber X hat funktioniert.
Neues BIOS geflasht (das DMA fixes bringt) und plötzlich funktioniert
X nicht mehr:
nvidia graphik Karte
linux-2.4.21-pre4 (nforce2 unterstützung)
nvidia-4191 Treiber
X startet nicht, nur seltsame Zeichen am Bildschirm (Textmode)
Was kann das bedeuten:
Mar 8 11:31:37 steve kdm[513]: Hung in XOpenDisplay(:0), aborting
Mar 8 11:31:37 steve kdm[513]: server open failed for :0, giving up
Mar 8 11:31:37 steve kdm[501]: Display :0 cannot be opened
XFree86.0.log sagt nichts außer:

(II) NVIDIA(0): AGP 4X successfully initialized
(II) NVIDIA(0): Setting mode "1280x1024"
Und dann ists aus.
