Wundert mich, daß hier unter 5 Antworten nur einmal ganz beiläufig
apt-file erwähnt wird. Ist das nicht genau das Tool der Wahl, welches
der OP sucht?

Also an den OP:

$ apt-get install apt-file
$ apt-file search <dateiname>
