Ich hatte so ein Problem, an dem die Header-Compression schuld war.
Du solltest herausfinden, ob und welche H.C. Dein Provider
unterstützt.

Du findest das in den Kernel-Sourcen respektive Deiner
/etc/isdn/ipppd.ipppX.
