Windowmaker Probleme

Hi,

ich habe vor einer Woche woody von CD's installiert. Nach einigen
Startschwierigkeiten lief das System auch und ebenso windowmaker. Ich
installierte danach noch ein paar mehr Pakete und es ist auch gut
möglich das in der Zwischenzeit das System einmal gehongen hat.
Jedenfalls nach einiger Zeit(welche Umstände genau dazu geführt haben
weiß ich leider nicht mehr) startete Windowmaker nicht mehr sondern
hatte gleich ein SIGSEGV. 

Ich entfernte daraufhin testweise die Datei
WindowMaker aus $HOME/GNUstep/Defaults, dann ging der Windowmaker
wieder, aber alle meine Einstellungen waren weg. Ich konnte auch mein
Theme, im .themed Format, nicht mehr nutzen da die Farbeinstellungen
daraus nicht mehr übernommen wurden?! (Dafür benutzte ich wmakerconf).

Ich habe dieses Wochenende dieselben CD's benutzt um auf nem älteren PC
woody zu installieren, dort habe ich nur mutt inkl. nötiger mailtools,
gnome, wmaker, und natürlich auch X11(4.1.0) installiert. Kopierte die
(eignetlich nicht funktionstüchtigen) Einstellungen von dem ersten PC
auf den 2. und startete Windowmaker - et voila alles geht?!

Hat jemand eine Idee woran das liegen könnte?
