Hallo,

gerade habe ich gemerkt, dass es aus versehen nur per pm rausging,
also hier der Vollständigkeit halber:

> Provider (1und1) seinen smtp Zugang umgestellt.
> Er benutz jetzt SMTP-Authentication.

> wie realisiere ich das mit exim?

> Bin schon seit geraumer Zeit am suchen, find leider nicht verständliches.
> Hat jemand eine Beispielkonfig?


/etc/exim/exim.conf:

# This transport is used for delivering messages over SMTP connections.

remote_smtp:
  driver = smtp
  authenticate_hosts = smtp.1und1.com

und am Schluss:

plain:
  driver = plaintext
  public_name = PLAIN
  client_send = "^pt1234567-ab^geheim"
