This is a German language mailing-list, if you don't understand it,
you should use debian-user instead.

Nein, es gibt noch keine ordentlichen Pakete fuer exim4 und vor dem
Release von woody ist imvvvvvvho nicht damit zu rechnen. Die
Konfigurationsdatei ist nicht kompatibel zu exim3, daher muss sich
zuerst jemand hinsetzen und /usr/sbin/eximconfig gruendlich anpassen.

Kompilierbarkeit unter potato wuerde ich mir sowieso nicht erwarten,
schon die akzuellen exim3-Pakete lassen sich ohne Aenderungen nicht
auf potato kompilieren.
