T'as essayé le paquet mpd du dépôt sid/unstable?
Dans le NEWS.Debian.gz, on peut lire:
mpd (0.14.0) unstable; urgency=low
MPD now supports listening on a local socket rather than a TCP port.
If you wish to use this feature, change the bind_to_address in mpd.conf.
Please note that this will break older clients.
