Oui, je te l'ai dit, il faut commenter la ligne qui commence par DEVICESCAN.
C'est une ligne "générique" qui n'a plus d'utilité si tu modifies le fichier
smartd.conf
Or, tu spécifies
/dev/sda -a -d ata -m postmaster@xxx.xxx
donc il faut l'enlever.
Je copie le passage correspondant du fichier.
# The word DEVICESCAN will cause any remaining lines in this
# configuration file to be ignored: it tells smartd to scan for all
# ATA and SCSI devices. DEVICESCAN may be followed by any of the
