Pb : le "Ping flood" provoque un reboot



Bonjour,

Je viens d'installer la Debian stable Sarge 3.1r0a (installation réseau)
sur un  serveur IBM xSeries 200 Type 8478-42X (Pentium III, 512Mo,
Disque IDE 160 Go, Carte SCSI 29160LP (AIC7892A U160/m), DD SCSI IBM 9,1
Go, Carte Réseau intégré Intel Corp 82557/8/9 (eth0, driver e100
Ethernet Pro 100,bien configuré en DHCP), Carte Réseau additionnelle Via
VT6105 (pas de ifup effectué mais drivers via-rhine chargé), Chipset
intégré VIA VT82Cxxx).

I) Lorsque je fais un ping flood de cette machine vers une autre machine
de mon réseau local par l'interface eth0 (driver e100, Ethernet Pro
100), la machine reboote immmédiatement ou après quelques secondes !

J'ai changé l'emplacement de la carte réseau additionnelle Via Rhine III
pour qu'elle devienne eth0 et j'ai refait le test du ping flood : même
résultat : reboot au bout d'un temps aléatoire !

J'ai remarqué que le problème se pose plus souvent lors du deuxième
lancement de "ping -f".

La machine

J'ai essayé de désactiver le APIC (noapic nolapic) et / ou d'activer
AVPI mais sans changement pour mon problème.

Quelqu'un a une idée du problème et de la solution ?

II) Autre problème : je n'ai pas réussi à installer la Debian Sarge
3.1r0a sur le disque SCSI. en effet lorsque de certains accès au disque
(fin de partitionnement, décompactage des paquets sur le disque, ...)
aléatoirement la machine rebootait !!! Une idée ?? Pour l'instant j'ai
fait l'installation sur le disque IDE hda et n'utlise pas le disque SCSI
  mais je souhaite connaitre la raison de ce reboot aléatoire pour
l'éviter plus tard !
