Ma carte graphique est une GeForce 5650 et dispose donc d'un sortie VGA + TV.

A la lecture de ton mail je suppose que le problème rencontré est que les frites n'étaient pas le meilleur plat d'accompagnement pour le poisson ;-) ?

J'ai peut-être pas formulées mes questions, donc je recommence :) :
1) Est-il possible d'utiliser Fontion F8 pour basculer l'affichage sur une sortie externe ? A la première install qui ne comportait que fluxbox, celà marchait. J'ai installé gnome et celà ne fonctionne plus ni sur l'un ni sur l'autre. 2) Si ce n'est pas possible, mon fichier de config a-t-il des lacunes. Si oui, comment y remédier ? 
3) les paquets nvidia-cg-toolkit et nvidia-settings peuvent-ils m'aider ?

Quant aux frites, je confirme. Un meilleur accompagnement est le riz. ;)
