mondo rescue et kernel panic
Bonjour !
J'ai un petit (gros !) problème avec mondorescue : la sauvegarde se passe
bien, j'ai un cd bootable, ou presque ...
Quand je tente de restaurer un système, j'ai un kernel panic lors du boot :
VFS: cannot open device "ram" or 01:00
please append a correct "root=" boot option
kernel panic : VFS : unable to mount root fs on 01:00
Dans l'aide de mondo il est dit :
Q: When I try to boot from the Mondo CD, it says, "VFS: Unable to mount root
fs." I am using a Debian distro. What do I do?
A: Ask Debian's designers why they, unlike every other distro I can find, have
included cramfs and other 'goodies' with their kernel. In the meantime,
please use '-k FAILSAFE' in your command line when calling Mondo.

kernel panic," or something similar. What do I do?
A: Recompile your kernel (or use '-k FAILSAFE'). Take a look at Linux Kernel
support to see what you're kernel must support.
Savez-vous si il existe un moyen moins "radical" que la recompile de noyau ?
Le problème est qu'il s'agit d'un serveur avec une carte et un pilote
spécifique (non-libre) dont on a pas les sources ... Donc a moins de
réinstaller le kernel après, je ne vois pas trop de solutions ?
Peut-être une option "root=" qui pourrait aider ?
L'objectif final étant de faire des clones des diques durs (certains livrés
avec du raid, d'autres non , etc ....)
