Devfs n'est pas monté au demarrage du noyo
mais apres avec le demon devfsd donc je ne pense pas que ca n'ai d'incidence sur grub

sudo grub-install /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc

Je ne comprends pas bien : vous semblez utilsier devfs (que je ne
connais pas) et vous donnez /dev/hda comme destination, ne faudrait-il
pas, dans votre cas faire :
sudo grub-install /dev/ide0/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc (ou quelque
chose d'approchant..) ?

Je pense que "expr: argument non numérique" est un avertisessement pour
cette incohérence).
