Voici les options que j'ai activé concernant les DMA :
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEPCI=y
CONFIG_IDEPCI_SHARE_IRQ=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEDMA_PCI=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_VIA82CXXX=y

J'ai eu exactement la même erreur (carte mère reposant sur le chipset
VIA82686A) et j'ai donc recompilé mon noyau (2.4.21) en mettant les
options citées ci dessous. Cela marche parfaitement maintenant. Pourrais
tu préciser le chipset de ta carte mère ?
