The DVD is supplied in a case rather than in the paper sleeve used for CDs. Question: Is the DVD bootable? Answer: Yes Question: Does the DVD contain images of the 7 binary CDs?Answer: No, it's a large installation image in its own right. (Sort of like a very large installation CD 1.) You can however create CD images from it very easily using the Jigdo package.
