Hoi,

Met deze posting komt dit ook in het archief van deze mailinglist.

Het is http://detectportal.firefox.com/success.txt waar ik tegenaan
liep. Anderen waarschijnlijk ook wel.

Heel het "detect portal gebeuren" zal met de beste bedoeling gemaakt zijn.
Net als zwaailichten met de beste bedoeling gemaakt zijn.
Ik wil erg geen zwaailicht van Mozilla Firefox.

Eigenlijk vind ik het een anti-feature van Firefox ...

staat beschreven hoe het uit te zetten.

  There isn't a UI checkbox for this, so...

  (1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.

  (2) In the search box above the list, type or paste captiv and pause while the list is filtered

  (3) Double-click the network.captive-portal-service.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false

  If you are in a managed environment using an autoconfig file, for example, you could use this to switch the default:

    user_pref("network.captive-portal-service.enabled", false);
