Ja, danke fuer den Hinweis, aber:

guido:~$ grep guido /etc/group
cdrom:x:24:guido
audio:x:29:guido

guido:~$ ll /dev/scd1
brw-rw----    2 root     cdrom     11,   1 May  4  2000 /dev/scd1

guido:~$ xmcd 
xmcd Fatal Error:
Xmcd binary permissions error: It should be setuid root.  Please have
your system administrator correct this.

Komischerweise funktioniert das ganze wunderbar auf einem identischen
System (Debian Potato r2) mit IDE CDRom Laufwerk. Dort mit den selben
Rechten. Nichts setuid root.
