[Debian]:xmms-install

Hallo Liste,
ich habe das xmms und xmms-dev Paket vom Debian Server installiert und es funktionierte einwandfrei. Da ich einen Patch installieren muß, muß ich xmms von mit den Sourcen installieren.

Vorher habe ich beide Pakete mit dpkg --purge entfernt.

Jetzt bricht "./configure --prefix=/usr/local/bin" mit folgender Ausgabe ab:

Note: Configure has discovered that you already have xmms installed and it do not match
with the given --prefix. You have xmms installed in /usr/bin/X11/xmms and you chose /usr/local/bin/xmms
Rerun configure with the --prefix option set to the correct location of the old xmms.
Or simply uninstall the old xmms.


Wenn ich "configure --prefix=correct location of the old xmms" ausführe, bekomme ich diegleiche Fehlermeldung 2 identischen Paths. "locate -e xmmss" liefert keine Ergebnisse mehr, "dpkg -l" auch nicht.
Was kann ich tun?
