Wohl ersteres. Im 2.2er ist das ganze /proc-System wesentlich voller
geworden und man kann zur Laufzeit viel mehr darüber einstellen. Dein
'ls /proc/sys/net/ipv4/' spuckt bei mir folgendes aus:
conf ipfrag_time
icmp_destunreach_rate neigh
icmp_echo_ignore_all route
icmp_echo_ignore_broadcasts tcp_fin_timeout
icmp_echoreply_rate tcp_keepalive_probes
icmp_ignore_bogus_error_responses tcp_keepalive_time
icmp_paramprob_rate tcp_max_ka_probes
icmp_timeexceed_rate tcp_max_syn_backlog
igmp_max_memberships tcp_retrans_collapse
ip_autoconfig tcp_retries1
ip_default_ttl tcp_retries2
ip_dynaddr tcp_rfc1337
ip_forward tcp_sack
ip_local_port_range tcp_stdurg
ip_masq_debug tcp_syn_retries
ip_no_pmtu_disc tcp_syncookies
ipfrag_high_thresh tcp_timestamps
ipfrag_low_thresh tcp_window_scaling
Glücklicherweise gibt es mittlerweile in den Kernelsourcen in
Documentation/proc.txt auch eine Dokumentation sehr vieler
/proc-Dateien.
