[Debian]: /dev/loop0 Problem beim installieren

Hallo,

Wieder ein Problem. :-(

Frage: Verletze ich eigentlich irgendeine ungeschriebene Regel wenn ich die
Fragen auf Englisch stelle??

Now, while installing with dinstall, each time I want to install the system
kernel and modules, dinstall restarts. There is an error message behind the
dinstall window..
It seems to say something like

/dev/loop0: Operation not supported.

I'm not sure about this. It seems that during installation, dinstall looks
for a rescue1440.bin which it then tries to mount as a filesystem.

For this it executes

losetup /dev/loop0 resc1440.bin

and this produces the error.

I checked with a manual losetup and get the same error.

Could it be that the kernel needs to support those loopback devices?

Daniel
