No té massa secret. Pots utilitzar el vesafb que en teoria
funciona amb qualsevol targeta VESA 2.0. L'unic que has de
fer es indicar-li la resolució amb el lilo (o amb el grub,
però no sé com es fa), p.ex:
vga=0x318
append="video=vesafb:ypan,pmipal,mtrr"
Per saber que vol dir això et pots mirar la documentació
del kernel a Documentation/fb/ :-)
