mount & umount as ordinary user

Dear all,

running Debian sid, I can mount arbitrary, in fstab-preconfigured
mount points as an ordinary user. However, umount'ing these mount
points is possible for root only. Why? I would like to umount those
points as an ordinary user as well.

an /etc/fstab entry:
# in /etc/fstab, of course, it's all on a single line

komsys-pc-bern:/scratch/mp3 /home/ruf/mp3 nfs \
    defaults,user,exec,soft,noauto,rsize=8192,wsize=8192 0 0

uccellina:~/Ruf!127> ls -l /bin/*mount
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 76792 2003-03-22 00:18 /bin/mount
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 39928 2003-03-22 00:18 /bin/umount
   ^------ is set for both

Thanks for any help!

wbr,
Lukas
