It certainly does - see the package lvm10

Only issue for me was the root partition - you need to create an initrd image 
which possibly conflicts with initrd image created when you install a kernel 
image that requires a module to be loaded for the root. (I am sure you can 
get round it, I just couldn't be bothered to do so).
