When I dial up to the net the modem connects but the
volume is so loud that I have to turn the speaker
down, but then I have to turn it up to hear any mp3's
etc..or get blasted out. As root I added atm0=off
above the line OK-AT-OK ATDT <number> and that turns
off the speaker, but then it is hard to tell when I
connected. Any help or idea what to use so that I can
tell when I'm connected, would be greatly appreciated.
