Try the default.  If it doesn't seem to work, change to something else.

There's also xkeycaps, an X application, which supports more keyboard
layouts.  If you can't find a suitable keyboard layout under the X
configuration tools, install the xkeycaps Debian package and investigate
from there.  You can always manually map keysims if necessary, but
that's a mild pain.
