The refurbed market is not too bad. I would reccomend www.gstek.com
as a starting place. I'm not associated with them, just had a freind
reccomend them to me when I was looking earlier. You can get a nice
sparc20 for about 1500 there, or a Sun Ultra 140 for just over 1k.
Those are both nice starter boxes. I've used sparc20s for commercial
web hosting with no problem, and I'm using an Ultra170 at home now.
