Thanks! Yes, your change does the job (dropping the “+” at the start of the lines).

The issue has also been resolved by the yesterday update of pstricks to TeXLive, and your line change is part of it. These file versions seem to be needed:

2021-09-24 23:38:54.000000000 +0200 texmf-dist/tex/generic/pstricks/pstricks.con

(which is already in Debian)

2023-04-30 21:53:54.000000000 +0200 texmf-dist/tex/generic/pstricks/pstricks.tex

(which is new).

Please feel free to push the changes to Debian.
