Thanks for all your work.  I needed to walk through the page today and I have two small suggestions.  Both apply to "Integrating vanilla TeX Live with Debian".

1) Perhaps add as (2.5) installing freeglut3
2) Change from 
    sudo dpkg -i texlive-local_2021.99999999-1_all.deb 
   to 2022:
    sudo dpkg -i texlive-local_2022.99999999-1_all.deb
