Bug#995683: ITS: latexmk
Package: latexmk
Version: 1:4.75-0.1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: OHURA Makoto <ohura@debian.org>, debian-tex-maint@lists.debian.org, mia@qa.debian.org
Dear Ohura-san,
I have tried to contact you over the last years asking for your
permission to take over latexmk into the Debian TeX Task Force.
Unfortunately, despite several attempts, I haven't received either
positive nor negative an answer.
Since the last upload of latexmk done by you has been in 2015 (1:4.41-1),
and since then all uploads have been done by me as NMU, I am now
intending to salvage latexmk according to the procedure laid out in the
developers reference:
https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.en.html#package-salvaging
I hope I will here from you about your further intentions, otherwise I
will upload in 21 days to DELAYED/7 a package that puts latexmk into the
Debian TeX Team.
Thanks for your understanding
Norbert
