Norbert from the TeX Live and the Debian/TeX Live team here.
It was reported to us that the release tar balls (on CTAN and on sf.net)
seem to miss the file
bblxml.p[lm]
while this file is present in the github tar balls.
This leads to errors like
> $ biber --help | grep output-format
> --output-format=dot|bibtex|biblatexml|bbl|bblxml
> $ biber --output-format=bblxml main

> INFO - Logfile is 'main.blg'

Is this a simple hiccup and the file should be included, or is there
something we are missing?
