BTW, this was fixed in arsclassica today, so the next upload of TeX Live
will contain a fixed version. In the meantime you can copy the current
arsclassica.sty (downloadable from here:
http://tug.org/svn/texlive/trunk/Master/texmf-dist/tex/latex/arsclassica/arsclassica.sty?view=log
) into the current project.
