Bug#824876: Please drop (or demote) recommends on texlive-doc-nonfree"
Package: texinfo
Version: 6.1.0.dfsg.1-6
Severity: normal
Hi,
I've just tried to dist-upgrade (for testing purposes) a pretty minimal
Jessie image to Stretch.
This upgrade wanted to install an additional 600MB of packages.
I tracked this down to a newly added Recommends
texlive-fonts-recommended in texinfo.
texinfo is basically installed on every system here, so I will get this
on every system I'll upgrade, even headless servers.
Please consider dropping that recommends or demoting it to suggests.
Thanks,
Michael
