Hi Norbert,

It's now been fixed upstream with a patch for the compiler bug, see
https://sourceforge.net/p/asymptote/bugs/202/

I don't know when there will be a new asymptote version released with
this patch; perhaps you could apply this patch to the Debian package
in the meantime?
