Hmm, thanks for the logs, but there are some things missing. Do you have
the *full* console log available?

I cannot reproduce this issue in unstable, and I am also surprised.

The only way this can happen is that the trigger for tex-common is
executed *before* the configure step, and for that I would like
to see the whole console output.

In my case I see a 
	COnfiguring tex-common ...
	...
	...
	Processing triggers for tex-common ...
and all works out nicely.
