Here's my attempt at making this work, which internally prefixes file
paths with "./" when they truly are relative to the current directory
and should not be looked up in the search path.

Hopefully this applies without much trouble to Texinfo 6.0. It would
be great if people would test this patch and post if it works, then we
should be able to amend this patch if necessary and get an acceptable
fix.
