Hi Gregor
On my Debian amd64 the symlink to the library is in the wrong /lib folder. It also seems to build in the lib64/ folder. Not sure why, I was also surprised.
ATM my SSD has died. Nothing serious, it is just the root partitions that need to be reinstalled.
This week I am on another business trip, to Manila this time. Sorry.
I will look into this issue when I'm back home.

Whatever happened in the biber repo :)
In general, "git-import-orig --uscan" works flawlessly for me.
(After a "git pull" or "gbp-pull" to make sure the local repo is up
to date.)
If there's something on http://pkg-perl.alioth.debian.org/git.html
that needs improvement just shout.

libtext-bibtex-perl:
diff --git a/debian/libbtparse1.install b/debian/libbtparse1.install
index 0ba3188..c1d6399 100644
--- a/debian/libbtparse1.install
+++ b/debian/libbtparse1.install
@@ -1 +1 @@
-usr/lib/libbtparse.so.*
+usr/lib{,64}/libbtparse.so.*
To be honest, I don't understand this.
When I build the package on my amd64 machine, there's no usr/lib64
involved anywhere ...
Cheers,
