Package: texlive-xetex
Version: 2009-15
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

today I have updated to zlib1g Version: 1:1.2.6.dfsg-1 (testing):

$ xelatex brief.tex
This is XeTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.2-0.9995.2 (TeX Live 2009/Debian)
(Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)

Nothing more. Downgrading to zlib1g_1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 "resolves" this
problem (für den kurzen Moment, ein reboot werde ich damit nicht
riskieren).

This is a bug in zlib1g, it should *break* against telxive-bin << 2009-12
You have to wait until texlive-bin 2009-12 is in testing, there
is a fix for this zlib incompatibillity.

Closing this bug.

Best wishes
