About TEXMFCONFIG , TEXMFVAR, and OSFONTDIR

Hi there,

In texmf.cnf:
TEXMFCONFIG = ~/.texlive2012/texmf-config

and in texmfcnf.lua:
TEXMFCONFIG     = "home:.texmf-config".  


Should these  not be defined the same?  If so I prefer the second.

Similarly, for TEXMFVAR.

OSFONTDIR is not defined, as far as I can tell.
