Dear all, on the debian side we got a bug report that some pdfjam/pdfnup commands don't work. It seems to be a problem with a specific pdf file which was created by cairo from an svg, this is as far as I could narrow it down. I attach the onefig.pdf But only when it is included *two* times and *only* when the option nup=1x1 is set, at least as far as I see ... $ cat test.tex \documentclass{article} \usepackage{graphicx} \begin{document} \includegraphics{onefig.pdf} \newpage \includegraphics{onefig.pdf} \end{document} $ cat inc.tex \documentclass{article} \usepackage{pdfpages} \begin{document} \includepdfmerge[nup=1x1]{test.pdf,-} \end{document} .... On TeX Live 2011: $ pdflatex inc ... (/home/norbert/tl/2011/texmf-dist/tex/latex/latexconfig/epstopdf-sys.cfg)) <test.pdf, id=3, page=1, 614.295pt x 794.97pt> <use test.pdf, page 1> <use test.pdf, page 1> <use test.pdf, page 1> <use test.pdf, page 1> <use test.pdf, page 1> [1 <./test.pdf{/home/norbert/tl/2011/texmf-var/fonts/map /pdftex/updmap/pdftex.map}>] <test.pdf, id=19, page=2, 614.295pt x 794.97pt> <use test.pdf, page 2> <use test.pdf, page 2> <use test.pdf, page 2> [2 <./test .pdfSegmentation fault (core dumped) If I do the same with pdflatex from a recent source build, i.e. one that is in Debian (texlive svn sources from 2012-05-10) then I get: $ pdflatex inc ...
