Hm, I noticed that I cannot even test texlive-bin, using
svn-buildpackage, without checking in my changes, and hence need to make
a decision. I have therefore created the squeeze branch.
If you object, we can revert this (by copying the changes to a "sid"
branch and reverting trunk).
