Package: texlive-binaries
Version: 2009-6
The following code is rendered correct in gv (after doing dvips on a dvi file), but incorrect in xdvi:
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{pst-all}
\begin{document}
\begin{pspicture}(0,0)(4,4)
\rput(1,1){\rnode{F}{F}}
\rput(2,2){\rnode{B}{B}}
\ncline{->}{F}{B}
\naput{$i:=i-1$}
\end{pspicture}
\end{document}
The message "xdvi.bin: Warning: Raw Postscript commands on page 1 may be rendered incorrectly." is printed on the console.
The same bug with a discussion for an older tetex-bin package: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=513468

Yes, but that doesn't mean it *needs* to ... it is so nice to you
to render many things, but that does not mean it has a full PostScript
interpreter.

Irrelevant, pstricks uses specials to transport code from tex
to postscript. xdvi interprets *some* specials, but not all.

You closed it again, but that is fine, I will ignore this bug from
now on.
If you want you can complain to upstream
http://xdvi.sourceforge.net/
to support your specials, but don't hold your breath that it will
be done within the next years.
Best wishes
