Same as for #493364: we dont't upgrade single packages in TeX Live.
Thus, your options are:
- waiting for TeX Live 2008 to be released, and then to be packaged
- install the latest listings package into TEXMFLOCAL
- use some different combinations.
I'm tagging your bug as fixed in upstream, as TL 2008 will contain a
later version.
