Thanks for the hint. I agree with Norbert here, that it is not a bug,
but something like a misconfiguration. Simply changing the config
solves the problem (as described in the history).

I'm lowering the severity and retiteling the bug.

Fine. I think reconfiguring the system is something I can expect from
a Linux user.

Aside from some other messages (which might be due to missing fonts)
I can reproduce your issue now.
