So, do it?
Leaving broken files around is not a solution. Either remove the files,
or fix the dependencies. Spending an hour poking at a supposedly-clean
install just to find that actually it's a broken package gets annoying.
Please either:
1. Move said files to said new distribution
2. Move one file into the other, so they're both in the same distro,
and both work.
3. Make -recommended depend on -base ((I suggest not doing this one))
