Re: Bug#424218: texinfo: FTBFS if built twice in a row

Hi Martin, hi all!

I need some help here:

- upstream ships po/*.gmo
- debian patches patch the .po files to fix some translations
- debian rules touches po/texinfo.pot
- make updates the .gmo files and the rest

Now at a second build time we have changes in the binary .gmo files
which cannot be represented.

Now my question: I could in principle hack around this by:
- saving all the .gmo files in the configure state
- restoring them in the clean step

But this is ugly.

Is there any other suggested way to do this?

Thanks a lot and all the best.

Best wishes

Norbert
